SERVICES

Group Activities

Our group activities aim to create a sense of belongingness and connection, something we as humans all have the desire to feel. Being surrounded by people who, to a degree can empathise with your circumstances is important and we believe engaging with community activities is one way to experience this.
This service allows you to step outside of your comfort zone and partake in activities you may have never considered possible before, all while being around others trying to do the same thing. Our friendly support team will be there every step of the way should you feel a little nervous. These excursions have been a great success in the past and provide an opportunity for you to make a new friend!
People living with disabilities deserve to defend the stereotype that you are any less capable than the next person, partaking in community and social activities provides many opportunities to network and engage with people who understand.
OVERVIEW

GETTING OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY

Although stepping outside of your comfort zone can be scary, participating in group activities in the community comes with a number of benefits that will outweigh the fear of a new experience. Some of the many benefits are:
Group activities are a great way to prove to yourself that you are capable of anything you set your mind to, whether it be a sporting activity, craft, or bowling there will be an activity for everyone. Your support team will be there to guide and empower you throughout the entire experience so if things get a little overwhelming you have peace of mind knowing they are there.

Getting Started

When you’re ready to get started on your Well Health Care journey, we appreciate that care is not a one-size-fits all experience and are committed to delivering a service that is unique to the needs and goals of you and your loved ones.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1

Assess your current
circumstances

The Well Health Care Team will sit down with you to discuss yours or your loved one’s individual needs, goals, and aspirations to ensure we find the most appropriate service. We understand this can be confronting and ensure we have a team of passionate, kind and understanding care workers who will make this experience as smooth as possible.
2

Discuss the support services
we have available

We will sit down together to discuss the many services and sub-services available to you. This will help us identify which program would best suit you and your needs. We always strive to deliver the best care possible and ensure this step helps us achieve this.
3

Create and implement a plan
to optimise your experience

Now that we have assessed your current circumstances and identified which service would best suit you, we will create a plan to get you started as soon as possible. Please be assured we can make changes to your service at any given time should you decide it isn’t right for you.
